2016 Gathering of Champions Martial Arts Tournament | Field Notes | TRAILFORTY.com
The first annual Gathering of Champions Martial Arts Tournament at the Torrance Marriott, Redondo Beach, California was a huge success! The event was promoted by Jayson and Angie Abad-Mancia of the Abad-Mancia Martial Arts & Maileilani Ohana Hula school. TRAIL FORTY was honored to be a premiere vendor at the event. We had a great time meeting many of the wonderful faces that make the martial arts ohana (family).
Hundreds of people stormed the hall wearing their school patches and colors. From age 5 all the way up to age 65 and older, the divisions were healthy with competitors. The gathering brought the best from multiple states and some from out of the country. They all came as champions at heart.
The opening ceremony gave honor to all competitors in a "Rocky" style entrance. From there everyone at the event was blessed by a hula performance that led everyone to an emotional but joyful applause. There was something in the air that brought back the feeling of the old way.
TRAIL FORTY was in full force and well received. The compliments came in directed to our booth and product selection. The warm feedback gave us smiles and confirmation that we were achieving our goal of being a service to others. We want to provide the best brands to allow people to WITHDRAW INTO THE WILDERNESS often.
With such a huge success, the planning for the 2017 Gathering of Champions is already underway. Jayson and Angie have such a love for people. This is a new era, with tradition, and an opportunity for people of all ages to have a goal. Who will be the 2017 champion?

Mahalo so much for this absolutely wonderful review of my daughter Angie and son in law fist Gathering of Champions tournament.. They endured all the pressures of running a first time tournament, so to have all these positive and wonderful reviews, I know what ever they had to endure for the last 6 months has not been vein. I’m so proud of them both because the one thing that they have learned through all of the hard work and stress, and doubt throwing this tournament is “Strong Faith and a Sincere prayer” is Victory. Mahalo again from the Abad Ohana???
Excellent! Time to leave my world for a three day break.
Great video bro.
